Haile...
"Often anger or jealousy awakens in us a greater knowledge of oneself in a more poignant way than happiness or love, for when we are happy, sated, or content, we often do not remember to examine the cause"
Very true...
Yet there is a another approach to this that I want to expand on...I think its the same thing Kamau was talking about...
U born alone U die alone...things, people, what u hate, what u love, will all come and go...so what is the value of these when they will all end up being thoughts remembered or forgetten For another moment in time. Another moment in time in wich u might remember them differently...So the reasons that a person may have not to feel good about themself, are no more valid than the reasons to feel good...even if that reason is a desire to feel good...considering all, that reason is good enough...
In other words if we all understand that a person born and dies alone, we will realize that it is sensless to oppress, kill, harm, another person...because all of that will become but a memory for that person, and all that will remain is the love that person have for themself...since we all born and die alone, its the same for us all...
So the only thing that makes sense to do is relate to each other, the LIFE and LOVE that JAH has given to us all, individualy...naturaly
