Interesting, I have never thought of it that way. I seek to overcome my base self, not because it is pointless to do otherwise, as is there is no difference between loving or hating, but because I strive to reach a higher consciousness. I don't mean for that to sound as self-serving as it does, but my belief that to be truly loving and accepting is for lack of a better word, "better". I will think more on what you have written, though, it is a very interesting thought. I do, for now anyway, believe that in being loved and in loving we never really die, for that positive energy remains, just as the negative does. Again, from your last post, I'm betting that you will disagree with that one, but that is what I have "held onto" for some time now. If we believe that sacrifice offers some form or redemption (assuming that we believe redeption is a valid concept) it is the basis that Christians believe that the Almighty so loved the world that He gave/sacrificed His Son, and again provided us with a King. Hmm. I'm going to have to meditate some more on this. Thanks for the food for thought... One Perfect Love
