To be civilized means to walk in the ways of the Most High.
I dont think the western world can make that claim.
Nowadays, not too many nations can say such.
Riches, gold, and technology has nothing to do with civilization.
If those things were taking away, would those people act in a civilized way.
The stock market crash of the 30's in America may offer some insight.
