My simple answer is "yes," the whiteness of mind can be changed. For really, the whiteness of mind has little or nothing to do with skin tone. As I'm fond of saying, "Cracker is a mindset, not a skin color." You see black men in the rural South who can be described as a "cracker" in the same way as their white neighbor can. It takes cognizance and willingness in an I to change. An I who's in this mindset must recognize their location, and must want to change. And then they have to work themselves towards that goal, not rely on others.
