I did not take the spirit of the original post to be trying to cause division, strife or one upmanship of any type. It was a question from an ethnological or anthropological perspective, I thought. I am well travelled. People all over want food and shelter for their family, true friends, etc. It doesn't mean that every country IS the same, or that differences are bad. The differences are interesting and complentary unless one is threatened by what is not exactly the same. One thing I like about Rastafari is everyone has a slightly unique perspective on it, a personal interpretation rather than just repeating a doctrine they have heard but not completely overstood and digested. Reasoning is always better than bickering, it comes from a loving perspective.
