First off I have been told that I cannot post any so-called obscene language or intimations of such on here or the post could be removed, just so you know.
Second, there are many Amhara/Tigray/Eritrean/Somali etc. people who are ebony-black-skinned, much darker-skinned than you, though they may not be as kinky-haired. I know there are those who very much identify as Black African, which is not to say there are not those who try to separate themselves from Black Africans and feel superior to them. (Just as there are Bantu people in Congo who feel superior to the so-called pygmies and consider them as little more than animals... and in Guyana there are African, Portuguese, East Indian and Chinese people who consider themselves superior to the Amerindians).
I remember a while back an Eritrean bredren was dialoguing with you and was saying he very much identified as Black and African and so do many of his people and you categorically denied this, saying in effect that he was not Black African in your eyes. Doesn't this seem just a little arrogant and divisive to you?
As for Selassie I, I won't go too much into how I sight His and Her Majesty as I'm sure it would just be perceived as "S.B."ing [can't intimate those cusswords] Suffice it to say that Haile Selassie means Power of the Trinity (which is nature as all of nature is manifested in a trinity, man woman child, solid liquid gas, yin yang tao, or in the realm of ideas thesis, antithesis, synthesis) and Ras Tafari means Head Who is to be feared (which is your inner voice, conscience, the "holy spirit" of the Bible when Yeshua says that you can be forgiven for blaspheming against the son, but not against the holy spirit cos that's your own JAH-given inner nature that you cannot betray and continue to spiritually live... so that is what "is to be feared")... the physical man Haile Selassie is the vehicle used by the INIverse/JAH/whatever you choose to call Him/Her/It, to awaken certain people to certain things and to signal the time of revelations/revolution/redemption for Black people exiled in the west in particular (this could include people still on the continent who are psychologically exiled to the west)... not saying HIM is the only such vehicle or that everyone or every Black person is in a position to relate to the message as delivered by HIM...I have to go in a minute which will certainly make these unfinished thoughts sound like "S.B.", oh well. Ultimately I guess I just wanted to say that it often seems like you're on some sort of vendetta against Rastafari people and make all sorts of generalizations about us, eg., we're all sexist, we all take the Bible literally, etc. I mean really is calling someone a "SB"er the most constructive way to forward a dialogue especially when that person has not come at you with any hostility? BTW I'm obviously not Ras N. but I'm almost certain he's Black. Anyway respect still I gots to go.
