Yes give thanks for the I words. Your Isamples are not unknown to I and yes, obviously in some situations children of mixed heritage do have some questions thrown at them - all of my children have had to deal with some form of rascism - it is through these and other life challenges that they grow and learn and overstand the world in which they live. There is little that they will not bring home to reason - and there is little InI cannot work through with patience, truth, overstanding and the grace of the Father.
The extended family is also a source of mixed blessings all have to adjust to the differences - this does make such a relationship harder as you point out.
Children of these unions number millions - some are unhappy, yes, I have met very mixed up people (there are very mixed up people of every hue), those with the most problems IMO are those who are not aware of their heritage and of the greatness of African history.
There are few ones and ones of European descent who sight RastaFari in my small circle who do not overstand that RastaFari is an African Liberation Movement first and foremost.
