Rastafari Greetings
You are right, you are going off-topic. I know all that already, as do most of our people.
The topic I wish to keep in perspective is this: How can we as Rastafari people build familie, how can we first-generation Rastas ensure that what we stand for continues to the next generation given that
1.many of us will practise exogamy.
2. Zimbabwean culture has always provided for a woman joining her husband's cultural identity, yet this is not happening in the Rastafari community. The children of Rastafari men are being baptised as Catholics etc, the wives of Rastafarians do not know the first thing about Rastafari. In fact the wives of Rastafarians act like some kind of Trojan horse, once in they begin to make it clear that they are anti-Rasta.
I must insist that we adhere to this topic. I would love to hear from the sisters, those that entered our nation through marriage.
I do not wish to put down those who are going off-topic, yes, you have something important to say, but there is something else we would rather hear about right now.
Rastafari Guidance.
