Of course, I agree whole-heartedly with you Ras Marcus. The Black/African male shouldn’t exhibit brutality in speech or in act against Black /African females as it is being done in white societies… As the traditional African male that you are I noticed how you never jump down my throat while I support my antagonist ideas on numerous principles of Rastafari. As it appears you have the ability to post constructively and with great humor IMO ( I would say I like that..lol..). Like it’s happening between us the free flow of ideas should be practiced between men and women naturally. Men as a result must not react negatively to "feminist" ideology.
Baba Ras Marcus I give you credibility because you see the necessity of women liberating themselves as the reason of Rastafari movement. So, if sisters like me rebuke sexist attitudes and doctrines it must be observed as the "African heritage" of active and courageous role of women in the struggle against slavery and colonization. The family life in Black nations and communities would remain strong if the Black male and the Black female were allowed to define their own role and status free form the consciousness of (Biblical) European patriarchy as it appears in their societies and mentalities based on "separatist" conceptualization, and arrogant "“superior to" ideological interpretations. Certainly, for the sake of the future of our Black/African children we must value the attitude and philosophy of our ancestors, and believe in their traditional behavior based on MA’AT (balance, truth, justice and wisdom).
