It is very strange and may appear disingenuous for a ‘white person’ (this is how I see you) to be in a Black based forum doing evangelism, or witnessing about their Christian faith (missionary activities) and speaking patois. Especially as you once said you were held back because of your language (or something to that effect), which could have given the impression that you could not properly do formal English.
To I, it comes over as if you were trying to claim similar discriminations as Blacks who speak patois and cannot, or choose not to do formal English. From reading other things you wrote, you are quite comfortable with formal English, and do use it in specific other settings. You wrote formal English elsewhere during the time you were posting in patois here. I feel your constant use of patois in this forum or any Black setting is an attempt to appear grassroots Black, which you are not. It is a tactic to get into Black gatherings on the Internet to do the 'Christian witnessing' (missionary) thing.
However, I have no problem with white or mixed-race people posting anywhere. I strongly feel that how one looks and their color has a bearing on how many issues impact on them.
