Does anyone know that the most children in care in the uk happen to be of mixed parentage mainly were the dad is black and mother white?. Check this from the Voice newspaper Kids

Mixed race children doomed to uncertain future in care
An entire generation of mixed race kids may grow up in care, experts fear.
The UK’s formal adoption list – the national adoption register – shows that 17 per cent of kids awaiting fostering or adoption across the whole country are from mixed race backgrounds. In some areas, such as Birmingham, the figures are as high as 35 per cent. Most of them have white mothers and absent black fathers.
Many have a smaller chance of escaping care because of the shortage of mixed race adoptive parents. Check this as well
