Greetings Christopher,
It sure would be nice to hear "your African Empress" speak about the works that your family is involved in. Like many have said on here before, white people's place is to step back...and let blacks lead...most especially black women....the ones who suffer the most at the brute force of white oppression...are the ones most qualified to be leading and teaching. While it is good to be able to provide links to resources, materials , etc
But....do you think you as a white man are the best person to teach black men rasta in a prison system that is systematically racist? How does a white man...teach one of the most fundamental roots of rasta...self determination...african culture and history...to black men? I am asking these questions straight from my heart...as I work at it within myself, how is it in order that a white man leads expeditions to africa? educational or not...there are plenty of blacks that would surely like to repatriate...why isn't your funds and resources 100% works towards that....or why aren't white people's funds and resources used to give back to the black community so they can build up their own educational trips for their people to africa?
We whites are generally an oblivious bunch that feel it is a one love thing...or some "harder core" ones feel that we will gain admission by being in the swing of things...doing the upfull and rightful works like peacocks on parade, it is obvious that is so because if they would check it...
the rightful order of things would be that our works would be about behind the scenes moves...giving the abundance of resources we have to do the “works” to begin with (that is a reapage of white privelege and benefits right there.....having access to money, resources to do the "works"!) to black people to take the lead in fulfilling these works...Reparations firstly.
...History has shown us that white people have no place behind a microphone, pulpit, or the like...to replace white supremacy it will not be yet another white face leading the way on what ever level.
