When I say bad from every angle, I am saying bad from every perspective.
You gave I two examples, torture and a man havin sex with a child .
I will give examples why these things are considered bad from every perspective.
The Islamic jihadist are said to be torturing and beheading people. These people believe that they are ordained by God and that it is good and necessary to rid the world of evil and evildoers...the US and britain for instance.
Who is the one to say that what they are doing are bad? Where is the reference? A holy book? We obviously cant go by the Qur'an because they believe it is within their faith and holy book to do so. Will the christian bible, which is filled with torture and barbarism, be the foundation? Will it be common sense, which is not so common to everyone?
In the case of having sex with a child, many cultures believe that a female is marriagable and ready to bear children upon to onset of menstruation. In the western world and other so called "civilizated" nations, these females are considered children.
Are these men bad? What is the reference to say that they are? Will it be western culture to decide?
Good and bad are definitely relative terms.
