Greetings Ras
I do not know if I am mistaken , But correct me if I am wrong . Do I detect and change in some of your positions over the last say 3 months ?
The biggest contributing factor to this malaise of hesitancy in social(economic) and political issues among InI is cause by the religiousification(religious influence taking over) of RASTA , wherein superstitions of holiness and sacredness rules supreme over social , economic and political issues
This is followed closely by those among us who mistake TRADITIONS for CULTURE , and will do everything to perserve a TRADITION that is hurting our people . Under the mistaken impression that because it is tradition it must be GOOD .
The movement is not poor financially , just poorly organized . As individuals Rasta need to realize that UNITY is not limited to CONFORMITY or UNIFORMITY . Members of houses will not work woth one another or with other house because of differences over sacrement , culture and politics .
As a people we must recognize FUNCTIONAL UNITY wherein we work towards common goals regardless of our ideaological differences . This is achieve by focusing on principles in which we agree or hold in common .
peace Babaji
