Yes..most diasporan African people know all too well the corrosive nature of colorism...my own mother told me stories of how her maternal line poisoned her against her paternal side because they were so...shudder!...AFRICAN...she was literally taught to shun them, until growing wise enough to know better...but I am afraid that your post will meet with the usual level of prevailing complicity this issue engenders among the African ,or Black, as they are often called and like to be called...what irony?...this being a rastafari board supporting African liberation...well, i've read this site for over a year, and have come to the understanding that this once proud movement is now where the displaced coward runs to hide; it's a modern day refugee camp for the hippie flower/moon/star children and the passive self-loather...who prefer to stifle Afican aspirations with ONE LOVE...and by being escapists and sanctuary seekers this particular board of posters (not entirely so but enough so) from whom you seek discourse are reluctant to address this prickly issue...for reason due in large part to 1) prediliction as evidenced in personal mating pattern 2)circumstance of birth 3)psuedo allegiance to this movement as dictated by 1) and/or 2)
