When you ask for "writings", does it have to be on paper?
Off hand, I can think of...
-the Sky/Cosmos
-the Earth/Nature
If that is not considered dependable then I give up.
Ooops, Im sorry, you said Spanish or English...that means it has to be very recent...that's too bad, because there were a lot of civilizations across the globe before Spain and England.
