I have heard of the Indian influence during my research on one LP Howell. However, I am not from the Islands, and so have no personal experience of that.
In Zimbabwe, we do have Indians, but it would appear to many commentators that their influence on other religions found in my country has been more in the area of......the occult.
The Bible does mention India, but I am sure you must know that India today is dominated by the Aryans, who in turn got their religion from Babylon.
