Hello disciple of the nile,
I am well (muy bien).
I say there is a gray area, there is a middle ground. If I believe in what my role model believes I have acceptance for others and what they are. If you look back at all my posts I am not saying for anyone to "convert" or accept "Jesus in your heart" or be "touched by the holy spirit" or any other fancy religious talk. I am stating what he has done for me in my life. I am saying "Hey believing in Christ is not so bad as what the media and what history makes it out to be. I understand what European colonization, capitalism and religion did in "the name of God" did to the world but where did a person who believes in Christ become the satan of the world?
So I think you are mistaken in that there is no middle ground. 99% of "christians" have it all wrong and are getting further away from the root by the day. I started out wrong with my first statement that I posted by saying "I am a Christian." I posted that to see the reaction I would get from everyone - and well it wasn't pretty but I see that many here do not know the type of "christian" that I am talking about. The truth is I do not know many either. But I do know that Christ did not intend "Christianity" to be the way it is now. Today mainstream Christianity is in the apostosy. Full of false teachings!
Christianity is not about being a holy roller it is about acceptance and not judging people.
I believe in what I believe and you believe in what you believe and we agree to disagree. But noone should convince anyone otherwise - it is how God works in your life that is important to you and whatever God does in my life is important to me.
