I put this post up after I saw the one by Ayinde with the two magic words 'Bob Marley' and 'weed'. I have heard it said by some that for many, Rastafari is all about reggae and ganja. I thought, let's test that (again). So, I asked about Africa. It may be a simplistic question, but the most vital things in life are simplistic. Water, Air, and Heat are simple components, but as Baba Ras Marcus reminded us, they make up this creation.
What do ones who claim to be Rastafari mean when they say 'Africa for Africans'? What would be the PRACTICAL manifestation of this ideal? Looking at reality as it stands TODAY, what does 'Africa for Africans' mean?
