greetings bredrin, just as an addition to this idea,
bredrin sellasielive asked,...........
"Why would I agree that only darkskinned, blue black Afrikans are fit to lead (be an icon of) a black movement when Qedamawi Haile Selassie and Qedamawit Menen Asfaw are light brown skinned Afrikans? Haile Selassie is the icon of Rastafari, where this site gets it's name. His light brown skinned face even graces to pages of this website."
I would respond that His Majesty is already a Continental Afrikan, who opperated from His natural birthplace in Itiopia. I n I here in the west, born in the west do not have that same experience.
Today in this image centered enviorment, where images teach, bring news to, as well as entertain the youth and most of the massive in general. imo, it becomes imperative that anyone spearheading an afrikan work, envoling large audiences, media , speeches kwk, kwk., be of the blackest black in an effort to reach the youth with the most positive of images. youth don't have to be taught to love whites or lights, they do that already, they must be taught to love themselves, beyond the bling to the marrow.
