Cold and darkness are quantitative while evil is qualitative.
How can goodness/righteousness/evil/iniquity be measured quantitatively?
What instrument can we use?
The post mentioned God.
We first have to know who/what God is before we can grasp what the lack of God/evil is/is not.
Since God is spoken off as being unfathomable, how can we measure the lack of the unfathomable?
When dealing with overstanding finite aspects of the mind which can be measured, then the analogy is quite true.
But in my opinion, when dealing with infinite aspects of the mind (no-thing/everything), then I think the analogy may not be so simple.
It becomes more relative than universal due to lack of overstanding of the infinite..
