"Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is, in reality, the absence of light. We can study light, but not darkness. * what about a black hole where light cannot escape? i think there is a lot to be said about the fact that we cannot measure darkness - i think this humbles us to the reality that we cannot know all. i would also not equate darkness with evil just as i would not equate black with evil and white with good.

i would however could equate enlightenment with lucifer, the bringer of light.
