Greetings
First, I would like to say that I too learn from you. We are teachers and students at the same time. Hence we can learn from anyone. Watching children play with each other before biases and prejudices are engrained in them, teaches one simplistic things about life. It is quite humbling.
I think we as adults, over analyze things. Ego tends to get in the way.
I clip no ones wings. Every man desides his own destiny. When I give my opinion on something, the person reading must investigate to develop a view according to how they overstand it. An opinion is not TRUTH, it is a relative truth.
Just because I say that I dont know whether man can transcend space and time, levitate, heal, etc., doesnt mean that it cant be done.
I did initially give the opinion that I didnt believe man could. But I will not choose to lean on my belief as if it is true absolutely. So I choose to say that I dont know.
I have read stories of people who could walk on water, levitate, heal, and raise the dead.
But since I have not bear witness to such accounts, I cant prove it to be true without a doubt.
So it became a matter of belief/faith.
But as you previously stated, "Whatever is based on faith is disconnected from TRUTH"
Therefore, one either knows or doesnt know.
But I did come across this quote that relates to my BELIEF on this matter:
“To mature is in part to realize that while complete intimacy and omniscience and power cannot be had, self-transcendence, growth, and closeness to others are nevertheless within one's reach.”
