I'd agree with your statement, but I'm of the opinion that it depends on the circumstances...a lot of suffering light-skinned idrens have it much worse than us dark-skinned ones. I'm dark-skinned, yet I've always known and was proud of who I was, I have faced discrimination, but not to the point of it affecting my self-esteem, I know a lot of light-skinned idrens who wish they could say the same.
