Chapter 2
One day, and elder of the short people spoke to them about an ancient temple of the righteous that was built by their ancestors. The door way to the temple was only 5'2 inches tall. Inside the temple was the writings of the ancient mysteries of creation. It spoke of a defect that caused some of their people to have an abnormal bone growth. This abnormal growth was a fatal defect. The people left because they thought they got too tall to enter the temple. They subsequently lost the original way.
Full of resentment, the tall people created their own temple where they were able enter. Inside the temple were all types of lavishes...exquisite food and drink, loose women, trinkets and jewels. Some short people were in the forest teaching the youth about the medicinal qualites of plants when they were kidnapped by some tall people. Because they were short, they were forced to work for the tall people. Over time, some started to accept the way of the tall people. They became drunk and fat of the excesses of the taller people. Some did not like the tall temple and wanted to leave. The king of the tall people decided that once you enter, you could not leave. So the short were forced to stay. The king and his people knew of the temple of the short and the greatness of the short people. He knew that their tallness was really a curse and would be the death of them. So he thought it would be best if his people acquire the qualities of the short, hoping they would not perish. So they forced the short people to mate with them. Many of the offspring grew to love the tall temple because that was all they knew. But some of the medium tall short people heard stories of the temple of the short. They decided that they wanted to know more about it so they ventured to leave the temple of the tall for the temple of the short. They new that once they left, they would no longer enjoy the lavishness of the temple of the tall.
Upon reaching the gate of the short temple of the righteous, the meduim tall short meet an elder and asked if they could enter. The elder said of course, this is the origin of you and your people. A medium tall short person asked how he would be able to enter since he was too tall to walk through the door.
The elder said, "This temple is for all in the land. The "tall" people thought they were too tall to enter the temple. They then passed this on to the medium tall short people. All they had to do is humble themselves, bow and and they could easily get inside. Tall people and some medium tall short people refuse to bow which prohibit them from entering into the temple of the righteous. There is neither tall nor short my child, there just IS.
The meduim tall people who wanted to know of the original way humbled and entered into the temple. The ones who loved the perceived benefits of the tall temple forever dwelled with them in confusion.
THE END.
