It is my opinion, based on the definition of ‘race’, that there can never be one human race today. The only time that ‘one human race’ could have been possible was thousands of years ago when the human population was small before migrating to other regions and before evolving the physical differences we see today.
The term ‘race’ denotes major physical differences in groups of people that exist today. To say that we are one human race is to be stating that all people look the same: no major differences in colour, hair texture etc. in groups of people today, which is certainly not the case.
Thus, there is no one human race but rather several races of people in the human specie.
