latet thoughts
is there a absolute reality. for us anyway... in the plane of reality that we all exist in... can we say tat it is the same, one, absolute?
not to say there are other dimensions or something, but dimension and other are just words, there might be something else but we have no conception, no idea how to think about it. the fact that we do think and use language and have perceptions, sights and sounds, is werid enough. im not gonna bother trying to analyze a reality not made up of matter and energies and inorganic and organic interaction.
but within this reality, everyone as their picture of it.
is one correct? one, unchanging yet changing constant, one thing that we are all a aprt of.
and if tere is one thing.
then it could be anytihng right?
so it very well could be that christianity is right.
ad that a god, with a human like personality created all of this, and his creations became "corrupted" but not really corrupted, since in absolute reality, it is normal for that to happen, for the angels and satan to rebel and for humans to fall, and for god to think we are worthy of punishm, ent. all those are constructs that the participators like god, satan and humans percieve.
but could that wold also be the absolute reality that we all are a part of now.
ad heaven and hell are real, and we all need jesus, and if we dont get jesus now before we die we are screwed. and when you think about time and reality, our life, is puny....
life is nothing. if infinity or the rest of reality besides our life on eart is controlled by human like god being jehova, then we really might have to do what he wants right?
we have no choice
that is precisely what hardcore christians are saying.
the implications are staggering.
what do you guys think
-------------------------------------------------------------
life is a drop in te bucket... to god, what is the purpose?
it seems simply to weed out those who are with him or against him.
we live on earth
earth ad everything it is possible to learn or percieve while on earth is the evidence we are presented with.
at one point in time we have to decide if we beleive in what the followers of christianity and jesus are saying is true.
if we make the right choice before we die, we exist for eternity in (from new international bible, paraphrased): "the joy of heaven is beyond our understanding or comprehension, but the descriptions in this passage make it clear that it is not something that humans wuld want to miss" (remember this was paraphrased form a NIV study version, passage explained at the bottom of page)
for each human, life is a drop in the bucket, and its up to a mystery (fate? destiny? god?) who sees and knows what, and makes the right choice.
they say gods enemy is satan. and he is on the prowl.
well he has done a great job.
no telling ow much he controls on earht, there is a good bet that he managed to plant dinosaur bones that we would carbon date to being very very old, he also gave the buddists, eggyptians and hindus knowledge that allows them to see beyond a world of human perception and human reality, a world that sounds more like what quantom mechanics is talking about. physics must obviously be controlled by the devil too.
so why is god doing this whole experiment
i guess thats one of the mysteries that lets faithful christians keep their sense of "whimsy and wonder"
----------------------------------------------------
the creator has a master plan?
how do you know it is the absolute reality? there could be a divine controlling that too. or that could be the system that the
physics is so complex. the world is so complex. why is god's attitude "join me or die"
and why is the master plan "ah creation, oh crap whats satan doing, oh man what is he telling eve to do, oh jeese, this problem will take me 4000 years to fix at hich point i will send down my son, i need to start prophesizing"
actually isnt the master plan that christians speak of.... god already knew all that was gonna happen or not?
