Greetings
"I've always thought of love as something that overides the choice process, I recall a reasoning on power of the heart vs. power of the mind."
I dont think what we call LOVE (romantic love) overrides choice in itself. WE make a choice to let it override choice.
Even the henpecked know they are henpecked. They choose to allow it because it benefits them in some way.
Believe it or not, we can control who we "fall in love with".
But when we are taught that we have no choice who we fall in love with, we relinquish that power.
Now unconditional love is a whole different thing. I do sight how this can limit choice. Unconditional love is like the love that a mother has for her children. It does not change according to the seasons. It is everlasting. Anything will be done for this kind of love no matter if it is unpopular or a risk of danger.
Now to combine romantic love with unconditional love would be something.
I guess that would be what people call 'soul mates'
Give thanks
