Greetings sistren
Give thanks for being real and acknowledging that Afrikan people share a form of hierarchal structure. This does not make it automatically oppressive. This is the issue I was trying to get at. We tend to romanticize or talk in ideal terms concerning Afrika and Afrikan people.
As far as patriarchy, which is a form of oppressive hierarchy IMO, is concerned, InI can thank patriarchal religions, particularly Xtianity. Many early Rases came from Xtian backgrounds. So many were indoctrinated with the patriarchal views. How can one endorse the bible but not it's patriarchy?
So yes I agree that the femi9 omega principles must be restored in Afrikan communities.
BUT, even with a restoring of the omega balance such as in Qedamawi Haile Selassie and Qedamawit Menen Asfaw's case, Ethiopia was still considered to be ruled by a hierarchal system.
How can one denounce hierarchy yet give thanks and Ises to His and Her Imperial Majesty and Ethiopia?
P.S: Hierogylphs are translated as "sacred (hieros) writing (glyphs)" It was translated from the Kemetic "Medu neter (sacred writings/writings of God)"
Peace
