When I wrote this historic epistle, I expected it was to generate genuine historic discussions about Rastafari people and the entire African race, but it did not turn out that way, however, I responded to those who posted according to what they posted. So far, you seems to be the first person who seems to Iverstand where I am coming from and where I do wish to go with this project.
You are right, we came here in our ancestors loins and were born to carry on the struggle and this is very deep. We must learn to Iverstand that African people in the western hemisphere put up great resistance against slave trading activities throughout the region in those very early days, in Trinidad, Barbadoes, jamaica and on the various other Islands and countries. We must realize that this struggle keep on going from generation to generation. As for Dr. Robert Love, he was born in the Bahamas about 52 years before Marcus Garvey was born, then he traveled later on to the USA, and studied worked and lived in the Southern parts of the USA for a while, he became a medical Doctor and then lived in Haiti for sometime, before he travelled to Jamaica and lived there agitating for the rights of black people until the day of his death. It is to be Iverstood that we learn from those who came before us, and there are so many other great African poineers in the African liberation struggle, known and unknown, whose names have been lost in history but who had laid the great foundation for African liberation upon which we are all walking today, even as I type these few lines. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere
ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE
