I believe you and I agree that HIM and the empress and their tribe could have done more about the issue of oppression of the darker skin southern Ethiopians who have gone to great lenghts to distort their physical structures in order to discourae enslavement. It seems to me that the Dergues are a product of HIM's dream and they look closer to the darker Ethiopians than the Amhara for example. From all of the historical works that I have had the blessing of reading it just seems that he recognized the problem and destroying feudalism. In effect he created the Dergues with his restructuring of the educational system and the political/economic system as well as stopping the royal line with his tribe.
I agree with HIM and the empress's policies heralded a new unfortunately Maxist Ethiopia. The fact is that it did not consider race and ethnicity enough in fact these marxists never care about those issues at all.
