In response to who sets the rules of right and wrong, good and bad; rules of morality, I say we do. I firmly believe that people are essentially good for we are in the likeness of our creator. Futhermore, when one speaks of the greater good and what is right and wrong, we all have very much so uphold the same values. Think about it. We have laws that we live by, partially because they have consequences if broken, but for the most part because we believe in them and they are our own. Now when I speak of laws I am only partly referring to governmental law and only of the ones that are characterized by the laws of nature and mankind. Mostly I speak of somewhat "natural" laws, like not committing murder, or stealing...I think we all have reached a general consesus has a human race that these things are wrong. Injustice is wrong and whether you are the victim or the executor, both parties know injustice when they see it because it is something essential to the human race. The reason that injustices are carried out is another issue, one that the imposer would have to battle internally with himself and God. And it is a battle within, however, Babylonians have gotten good at hiding the truth from themselves. When someone kills someone, especially if they have done no harm to you, they did it not because they felt right doing it but because they know it was wrong. This is what the society we live in does, it distracts people to the point where the mind is so clouded that their actions become clouded. They come up with clouded justifications based on clouded thoughts. Which is why people need to liberate their mind and bodies so that they can truly live outside the realm of distraction into consciousness of their environment and of themselves. People need to realize and recognized intuition and trust their own judgments because they will essentially lead you down the right path, but people allow other entities to do the thinking for them and this is what corrupts morals and values. We have the power to create and destroy,to adhere and conform to or to reject the things that are presented to us.Chanting down Babylon.
