Profiles In Injustice is the definitive work on racial profiling – the controversial use of race or ethnic appearance to predict criminal behavior. Many believe that racial profiling is just a "common sense" way to fight crime. But Profiles In Injustice shows that this is a myth – one of those beliefs that is widely held and seldom questioned, but flat out wrong.

Author David Harris shows beyond any doubt that racial profiling not only harms individuals, the legal system and police departments; it simply does not work.

"David Harris points the way toward policing that can be achieved without trampling on the rights of any members of our community. This smart and important book should be read by citizens and police alike."
—Ray Kelly, Commissioner, New York City Police Department, and former Commissioner, United States Customs Service

"A tremendous contribution by one of our nation’s leading experts. . . . No one who reads David Harris’s book can deny that racial profiling exists or that real solutions to this problem are within our grasp."
—U.S. Senator Russell Feingold

"The police are only necessary in that junction when there are those that have and those that have not."

This is something that i have been thinking about. if a person is white, do InI naturally distrust them, as summa dem do to us? is that justified? or should we use caution, but ignore the skin color?
this is racial profiling as well, only not on a CIA level!!!
