My ancestors rested
on the banks of the Nile
I am the prince of powerful Pharaohs
I am Queen Sheba's brown-hued child
I am Nubian
To the Universe I gave birth
through a divine breath that
could never have a monetary worth
For the code of life my ancient land is searched

I am Nubian
I am as complete as the number nine
I am refined through intervals of time
My mind is mystical, methodical, prodigal
and divine
I am blessed with a beautiful blood line

I am Nubian
The creator of numbers and alphabets
Pyramid architect
Mathematical intellect
who communicated with the first dialect
I manifest what has existed throgh meditation
that began centuries before
I am Nubian
My legacy continues way after
I arrived onto America's shores

I am Nubian
Profound
Magician of sound
Phoenetical physician
Because I mastered the positions
of the stars and planets
I found the Earth to be round
I am of a Nubian nation
that has taken civilization to higher bounds

I am Nubian
A sonic soul
Bionic and controlled
In my mind it is power that I hold
Stories untold unfold
My beginning was written on sacred scrolls
On a daily basis I once wore diamonds
and gold
The history of me is a million years old
