Title: Poetry Dealer
Post by: influence on September 11, 2007, 12:49:03 AM
You can call me the greatest dealer of all time

havin you sniffin lines of 8 by 11's

3 to  4 sheets at a time

So that brain numbing sensation

Is just the elevation of your mind

I remain on a slow grind

Changing generations of cloudy minds

One venue at a time

Using buses trains and plane

Just to show my contraband is the most potent in this game

I'll have you respecting ya girl

And tellin the truth to ya family

Just on ya first hit of me

More addictive then heroin

Havin the testimony of ya man

Change from this is my bitch

To this is my black women

See understand this is that contraband

The government don't want in ya hand

Cause no matter how many times you play it in ya decks

It comes back cooked to perfection time and time again

See this is that good grade

Huwie P Newton said gonna help us win

That contraband that has ya mama

Sendin you out again

When you come home from ya bing

See western society fears a hustler like me

I'll pimp ya kids and have them turnin tricks on literacy

Havin young girls say the hell wit  kanye

We don't want D's we flashin A's on ...em

By next summer we'll two step

And walk it out wit diploma's

Havin teachers say

I can't leave this child behind

I'm gonna teach' em  like he mines

This is that contraband

Changing hallucination to revelation's on how to be a man

To recieve it you don't have to do a damn thang

Just open ya ears , and I'll push it in

Makin you understand that being a good husband

Is synonymous wit god lovin

And being a good wife

Is the key to substaining a vibrant family life

I stay in the lab cultivating  this art

Until every line I scribe

Give you the vibrant vibe to fall to ya knees

And say thank god I'm still alive

Cause being with out me

Will be the greatest detox of ya life

This contraband manifest's good sprits

Just look at my life

Shot up over 200 times

ain't got no tracks to hide

Wit no money

You can over dose on me on probation

And come back clean On ya urine toxication

Understand this is so serious

I pray a sista passes it on

To her unborn fetus

Becoming an epidemic

From generation to generation

Turning our poor hood to prosperous nations

Havin block parties tossin back education

So when you start jonesin and gettin sick

I got that spiritual  intellectual fix

You can find me at venue near you

Sittin by candle light , counting intellectual figure's

Just come holla

I'm ya friendly neighbor hood poetry dealer
