No problem. The lack of attention the African community in Brazil recieves is disturbing, especially considering 60% of all the African people in the Western hemisphere live there...Which means that there are more African people in Brazil than North, Central, the rest of South America and the Carribean combined...Their history of struggle is so rich, and can add so much fuel to the revolutionary fire, when studied...

I've never been in Brazil but I would love to go there one day. I have Black friends form Cuba and Venezuela and I relate a lot to the kindness they show me. They embrace me like another one of their sisters from back home. From the bottom of my heart, I wish all Blacks could become united and organized in the Diaspora so we can become the changing collective force we have the potential of becoming!
