Spiritual knowledge

I came across a wonderful quote from Pandit Rajmani Tigunait. " Spirtitual knowledge is not the same as information knowledge." In our earnest to be enlightened we read everything we can get our hands on but never truly learn anything about ourselves or our place in the universe. A vast knowlege of religions, customs, etc. do not equal spiritual greatness. Perhaps it is the wealthy educated man who must sit down and listen to the humbled. We all have egos but must check them if we are to reach out to others and become enlightened.
