I came across Eugene Godfried on
www.youtube.com while doing a random search on the Guadeloupe, the French dependency in the Lesser Antilles. He seems to have a wide range of articles on African descendants in Cuba and Pan-African outlook with a wide knowledge of Africans in the various European language centres in the region i.e the French, Dutch, Spanish and English Speaking Caribbean. In that regard I think his work may be important. I have read that he is also a musicologist. He passes on earlier this year.

Do enjoy. I would definitely like to learn more about the culture, liberation struggles, politics and history of the non-English speaking Caribbean as our sisters and brothers exist there also and struggle there too against white imperialist, capitalist greed and patriarchy. Please feel free to share.
