What a book... what a book. I'm not even going to try to describe it too much, just seek it out and read it. In my opinion it's in the top ten of greatest novels ever written. I can't remember the last time I read a book that had me (literally) sobbing and hooting with laughter, all on the same page.
It is based on the author's family's experiences in the Biafran war and it brings alive those who are no longer here to tell their stories... literally... the people in this book become like living breathing people who you personally know by the end of it.
Read it at all costs
