Conscious Vybz / MANDELA- HERO OR TRAITOR?

MANDELA PANEL DISCUSSION

The world mourns and celebrates NELSON MANDELA; a man many view as the greatest man of his time. Even in death, he has actually managed to get the presidents of Cuba and the US to shake hands.

Others however are not so keen on Mr. Mandela's 'canonization'. Reasons cited for this stance range from a system which still has native Black South Africans living in the ghettos to South Africa's decision to dismantle it's nuclear weapons program.

This episode of your favorite radio program features a a panel discussion on PEOPLE'S PARLIAMENT. The panel consists of JOHN OSAE-KWAPONG, Director of Research and Planning, Student Affairs at Columbia University, Ghanaian linguistic expert KWASI BOATEN, Nigerian activist/blogger FEMI AKOMOLAFE and activist SADIA NUHU.

CONSCIOUS VYBZ comes to you live every Wednesday 4-5pm on www.saharafmradio.com from New York City.

Moderated by Kwesi 'Jahbeloved' Baako.
