I am nothing with out my soul

« on: February 06, 2004, 08:32:22 AM »

A song of a caged bird
wings clipped, soul torn
sings a song of sorrow
against all the immoralities
of the world reknowned
he sing a song that is shed
with tears, tears of depression, oppression and sadness
None of joy
tears tattooed to his soul
so much can he only bear
bars of insecurities built around him
not of his own but of others
which haved caved on him
not by his own will but by the one which was taking from him
he is a caged bird
no song now he bothers to sing
no one hears, no one cries
except for him cause he cries
and no one cares why
a caged bird
wings clipped, soul torn
sings a song of sorrow
against all immoralities
of the world reknowned.

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality.
