Greetings in the name of His Imperial Majesty, Selassie I

I am interested in the views of other Rasta (and non-Rasta alike) on the debate.

I think it is unwise to deny that evolution is a fact, for it has been Itinually proven. However there are many, many theories on evolution and they all cannot be true. Also, many theories on Human evolution are in question.

I believe that in Jah's creation of the universe, Jah gave rise for evolution.
I also believe that man did not just evolve from monkey, and if he did...he was touched by Jah's divine intervention (in being given consciousness)...

I am open to all opinion, for all is THEORY. And as I&I know...only one is FACT.

What does I&I think of this?

I think there isn't a big argument to be had over creationism and evolution...The evolutionists just call "God" or the act of  "creation" the "big bang"...What's the difference? Most ancient people associated a female diety with the creation of the world...mother nature by many names. Some cultures a male diety.

As far as man's origins....I can go on for days about different "theories" I find plausible. I've accepted the fact that I'll never know for sure, so I'm looking forward to seeing other people's opinions on this matter. But from all the ancients societies of this world there has been a continual story of "supernatural" intervention...Wheather it is a creator, Khnum/Olorun/Enki/God or Neteru/Orisha-Nla/Elohim/Annunaki/Angelic beings, ect...there also seems to be the story in most religious/spiritual teachings that other humanoid beings were created or existed prior to us....or that our creation was the combination of the humanoid and angelic beings...or that God and his consorts worked together to create us, one fashioning the soil and the other giving the breathe of life...But that's straying from the subject at hand...

I have studied both concepts in I schooling, and have come to this conclusion:
JAH set the evolutionary cycle in motion. JAH yes, created the world, but JAH did that through evolution.

I seh that man did evolve from animals. This is seen in many artifacts of bones. Look at the jaw structure of monkey and man, and early man (hominids). I do not disregard this evidence. Note: this does not comment on the intelligence of man at all. it simply shows that InI are all connected in all forms of life!

Beware of those who only preach of creation. These people can decieve, and many are the same who believe that the evidence of evolution is fabricated (many artifacts of evolution are found in Africa, and prove how advance InI society was thousands of years ago)

Bless up!
