Unification Of Jah Children

Unification Of Jah Children
Hope erased the misery
Out of the bowels of society
Rose a powerful circle of unity
The unification of Jah children
Brethren and sistren
Gathered at the lion's den
Unimaginable positivity sprung forth
Each learned and was taught
The congo drums roll, mysteries unfold
Spiritual awakening of a slumbering soul
Re-affirmation, education and inspiration
Wiping away the miseducation, the memories of injustice and oppression
Ancient memories waft across the air
Under one banner we gather
Spewing praises to Jah
In the midst of everyday strife
Blossomed the true meaning of life
For faith without works is no faith at all
I man and that man
We reason, why one nation rise up against another nation
Why the world is steeped in segregation and destructive domination
Vanquishing the lies
We understood the suppressed cries
Rejecting the myth of the white Jesus with blond hair and blue eyes
Quoting Garvey, Marley and Haile Selassie
One God, One Aim and one destiny
We overcame the memory, the negativity
Of the folly, the vanity, the poverty
That manifests itself in this society
The fullness of Jah I endureth forIver
Exclaimed one Rasta
Satta Massagana* replied a sista
The drums beat faster
The flame grew higher, higher & higher
Entranced I and I danced

We should first show solidarity with each other. We are Africans. We are black. Our first priority is ourselves.
