Minister Louis Bey, founder of The Nation of Moorish-Americans, Inc., revealed by our divine origin, has accepted the immediate mission of uniting and nationalizing over 40 million indigenous people of North America under the Moroccan Banner.

The Nation of Moorish-Americans calls all free Negroes of the African race to reclaim their nationality. Free Negroes of the African race are not technically "citizens" within the meaning of the Constitution of the United States.

Since 1776, Negroes of the African race, whose ancestors were brought to this country and sold as slaves, have been existing in America without their legitimate identity. Brought to America as slaves and as property to be bought and sold, the U.S. Constitution and the U.S. Supreme Court have never changed that definition of the Negro.

Minister Louis Bey respectfully petitions the United Nations for recognition as a Member Nation. In support thereof, we offer the following:

1. The Nation of Moorish-Americans was incorporated in 1995 under the laws of the District of Columbia, as a body politic formed for the purpose of advancing the social welfare of the people of Moorish decent throughout North America.
2. The people of Moorish decent have two treaties with the United States of America, which we want to pursue:
- The Moroccan/American Friendship Treaty of 1408, which was ratified in 1787 and recognized as protecting the Moors as subjects of Morocco (again ratified 1987);
and
- The Treaty on the Land Purchase called the Louisiana Purchase which was ratified into law as a treaty by the U.S. Senate in 1762.

is a MIS-understanding of the constitution the MAIN reason why blacks in america recieve injustice?according to somethings stated in the article,  is it TRUE that one who calls themselves a so called "Negore" and another black who terms themselve a Moore with their proper rights, should be respected differently?i think EVERYONE on this board and worldwide anyway should REALLY take a proper look at the constitution of america and TRULY reason what it REALLY states coz HEREIN lies the problem.just my thoughts anyway.
