The new book,
Omali Yeshitela Speaks, shares 28 of the leader’s most powerful speeches, articles and interviews from the past fifteen years. Yeshitela argues that poverty and the associated symptoms imposed on Africa and the African diaspora will only end when African people win genuine political power to control their own resources. Yeshitela also strikes the heart of the current U.S. political and economic crisis with sharp commentary on recent world events, from the attacks of September 11, 2001, to the current war on Iraq.
