 take a looka deep look
what they have done to swaziland
and what they are trying to do zimbabwe
takea look and tell me what you see
they have killed thomas sankara
jean bertrand aristide is in south afrika
we know ayiti is not free!
grita forte zumbi!

once ostracized
maurice bishop was isolated
 they invaded grenada
rastas in jamaica
all could they do was beat their drums
meanwhile, they had him ina cage like animal

take a look
what has happened to our beloved afrika
where french mercenaries,british mercenaries
amerikan mercenaries roam around like hyenas
waiting for the kill

is mugabe the last bastion of african struggle?
only time wil tell
lets us stand beside him
shoulder to shoulder and so no
to another imperialistic invasion

the ghosts of king leopold the second
still roaming around
the kongo,

ohh just take a look at botsawana
where amerika has its military base
now is the time of sons and daughters of afrika
to put their petty differences aside
and time to have functional unity

as cesaria evore says" africa minha africa nossa!"
" my africa,your africa"
i call up on walter sizulu
solomon tsheko platjee
to witness with me the on slaught of our people

if africa is not free
we are not free.

WOW...
You said a mouthful!
I must say, I'm actually intrigued as to why you entitled the poem as you did. As there any reason in particular?

Look at what they have done to and with our IDENTITY??? If you know not thyself, how do we expect to know and fight for the motherland?

Quotations by Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe

# “TO the completers among whom I number myself, my exaltation is: REMEMBER AFRICA!”

# “We are anti-nobody. We are pro-Africa. We breathe, we dream, we live Africa; because African and humanity are inseparable . . . On the liberation of Africa lies the liberation of the whole world. The future of the world lies with the oppressed and the Africans are the most oppressed people on earth . . . “

Peace and strength
