ABUSED

The touch of hands in places that should not be touched.
The sound of words that should never be spoken.
The kiss of lips as it covers my screams.
The breadth of contempt as I am robbed of my dreams.

Father, protect me, not destroy me.
Love me, not hurt me.
Mother can’t you hear my silent cries, as I die inside?

Who will now love me as I am, for me?
With my pain, my rage, and my disgrace.
I would rather death as I lay in his embrace.

I feel his passion and his heat as he robbed, my mind, my body and my soul as I lay in defeat.
Destroying all my hopes and dreams, as I crawl into a place where we will never meet.
