PeaceLoveInity, from the one true Jah

« on: April 02, 2003, 12:21:29 PM »

I knew the price when I began
To seek Your face though I am but a man
For You are as water and I am the glass
And with Your grace I know "this too shall pass"
So the mystic continues on this trek to the light
Knowing that when the world calls me wrong is when I am most right
So Jah show me more, more than the glance
Of the shimmering face I saw in that trance
For now I overstand the struggle of those gone before
And why they could do nothing, save ask You for more
Your touch has been felt in my heart of hearts
It stabs my soul like the tips of new darts
I feel Your presence through the entire day
Your voice doth speak, though I rarely hear what You say
LORD Jah I beseech thee, though I am so weak
Teach me to listen, tell me how to speak
Do you hear me when I ask for your love
And why is it a mistake to look for you above
I know that this, Your creation, You fill with Your light
And when I seek you I shan't know spiritual night
But how can I know You if I am so weak
Teach me to listen, tell me how to speak
Why do I always fail though I try to seek your face
Just as I fail to overstand your grace
I know both are there, I even know where
But as a man, I don't know how You share
So as the world around me crumbles without
Help me to remember the world is not what life is about
I feel every day the nearness of You
But still waiver, unsure what to do
So hear me LORD Jah as I try to pray
Give me the ears to hear, the words to say
As I try to know you, though I am so weak
Teach me to listen, Tell me how to speak

Thanks to theI, but Iman am not worthy of such praise...Iman only try to feel Jah touch, and the light that shines forth is not of my own control...Iman give thanks that it may be a blessing to theI as well.

Brother, it is through Jah love that flows in the I that these reasonings take place that we share unto one-another.
And the prayer of the I shares a great love for the Father.
Written through the grace of the Father.

Peace, Helena
