I am nothing with out my soul

« on: January 01, 2004, 01:32:11 PM »

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

I decide to walk where I am going
Cause I don’t wanna get there too fast
Whether they are good or bad deeds I am doing
There just stages I pass
I was giving this life to deal with
It’s the only life I know
I made up my mind to keep it real
Each and everyday I grow
Sometimes I sit alone
There nothing much to say
There nothing much going on
It’s just another day
Compare me to no one
Cause I am genuine and unique
But somehow I gotta make it
Surviving in the street
Sometimes it is a hard road no doubt
Cause I feel trapped with no way out
All the love Im taking in, Is all im giving out.

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become reality.
