Higher Reasoning

« on: April 14, 2004, 07:23:57 AM »

I am wondering what ones thoughts are on community controlled monetary systems? Seems to me that perhaps this is one way on a local level, to wrestle control from the European/U.S. financial hegemony that controls the globe. A community which controls its own creation of money and has it tied to a local economy is perhaps very beneficial and an engine of growth for self-determination.
